Upon entering British legal records in the late 18th Century, the peninsula became an industrial hotspot, with shipyards, timberyards and CSR’s sugar refinery cramming the bays from the early 1800s.
A series of interpretative installations and salvaged relics throughout the development commemorate the area’s history, in an effort to preserve the past.
